The draw cards for the tiny beach-village itself are a spring-fed lagoon and the rare hot-water springs that bubble up beneath the sands of the tidal zone. At low tide you go out, dig a hole in the sand and wallow in your own home-made hot bath.....

.... This is even more extraordinary at night and Trevor and Gail know about the tides and will provide spades and wine. Not many B&Bs provide spades and wine. You will be hard-pressed to find fault with this place. I tried, but failed. The vital elements of bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculate with any trimmings you might dream up (shower-caps, PC plugs, extra blankets) already thought of and covered. Downstairs: a full-size snooker table with an (honesty) bar and telly for blokesy sports occasions. For the beach: boogie boards, beach towels and, of course, spades to dig your bath. Breakfasts are enjoyed together in the open-plan sitting-room-kitchen-deck with a full wall that opens towards the beach. The house is fresh, modern, beachy with loads of space, neat tubs of aloes on gravel paths, wooden decks, one bearing an outside hot tub which looks out to sea. And to top it all Gail and Trevor are just incredibly nice and natural, committed to your happiness. AND the rates make very pleasing reading. The 4-night maximum stay in operation here gives others a turn! Roxy the foxy dog and Pipi the tabby cat are the animals in situ.
